GET A QUOTERoofing in Longridge
From concrete tiles and natural slate to felt, GRP fibreglass and single-ply flat roofing, the covering on your home decides how it is repaired and how long it lasts. KSB Roofing Solutions is a general roofing contractor covering Longridge and the wider Lancashire area, taking on new roofs, re-roofing, repairs and surveys for both householders and businesses. We turn up when we say we will, keep the site tidy, and leave the roof watertight.
What the work involves
Most jobs begin with a survey, either from the ground with binoculars, off a ladder or up on the roof itself. We check the covering, ridge and hip tiles, valleys, flashings and the pointing around the chimney, and look inside the loft for daylight or damp timbers. From there we re-bed or replace slipped tiles, renew lead flashings, re-point where mortar has failed, or set out a full re-roof with new felt and treated battens. You get a written quote before anything starts.
Why choose KSB Roofing Solutions
We are local roofers who would rather fix the actual problem than sell you a new roof you do not need. Every quote is free and set out in writing, with no pressure and no vague estimates. KSB Roofing Solutions is fully insured, careful on site and tidy when we finish, and we are happy to talk you through what the work involves before you commit.

Do I need moss removed from my roof tiles?
Moss looks harmless but it traps water, clogs valleys and gutters, and in cold weather freezes and shifts tiles out of place, opening up gaps for leaks. It is worth clearing, but gently. We avoid aggressive pressure washing on brittle or porous tiles, remove the growth by hand and brush, and flush the gutters afterwards. We can also advise on keeping it from coming straight back.
What will roofing work cost me?
Price comes down to the type of roof, its condition, the materials chosen and how easy it is to reach safely. Storm damage covered by insurance is handled differently again. Rather than guess, we come out, inspect the roof properly and give you a free, itemised quote so you can see exactly what you are paying for before any work begins.
How many days will the roofing job take?
Small repairs like a slipped tile or a flashing are usually done in a day. A full re-roof runs from a few days up to a couple of weeks for larger or more complicated roofs. Weather in the North West can affect the schedule, so we plan around it and never rush a job at the cost of leaving it watertight. Your quote includes an honest timescale.
What are the signs my roof needs attention?
Look for water marks on ceilings, slates or tiles on the ground after wind, a ridge line that dips, loose flashings, or gutters overflowing with moss. Any of these means water is getting where it should not. Rather than assume the worst, book a free survey and we will inspect the roof and loft and give you a straight answer on what, if anything, needs doing.
Is roofing work disruptive, and do you need scaffolding?
Most re-roofs and larger repairs need scaffolding, both for safe access and to meet working-at-height rules, and we include this in the quote. It goes up before we start and comes down when we finish. The work is done from outside, so disruption indoors is minimal. We use dust sheets and debris nets where sensible and clear all broken tiles and rubbish from your property at the end.
